Lekha Publishers runs two week-long camps in April coinciding with the spring break
of most schools in the area. During the week, children will learn the basics of creative
writing through fun and games. A typical day at the camp starts with a language warm-up
session at 9:30 AM. As the day progresses they will take part in outdoor word games, story telling,
writing, and peer-editing sessions. Depending on their comfort with computers they learn formatting
their work using Microsoft Word and Publisher on laptops. By the end of the week they will have the first draft
of a story in a genre and format of their choice.

Spring Camp Dates:
April 4th -11th (Cambrian, Campbell,Lakeside, Loma Prieta,Los Gatos,
Luther Burbank,Moreland,Saratoga, and Union school districts)
April 14th - 18th (Cupertino,Los Altos, Montebello,Mountain View/Whisman,
Sunnyvale,Milpitas, and Santa Clara school districts)
Camp Timings: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM; Camp fees: $250.00
Before and after school childcare available.
AM childcare (8:00AM to 9:30 AM) $40.00 for week PM childcare (3:30 PM till 5:30 PM) $40.00 for week
